MSI has taken to the Computex stage to reveal 5 new monitors, and quite frankly, there’s now something for everyone. MSI monitors are widely known for being the best value for money monitors on the market, so to see then expanding into new areas is great for all.
MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 MONITOR
The MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 is a QD-OLED monitor with an AI Care Sensor which basically means that it has a camera at the bottom that can utilise human detection in order to automatically turn the monitor off as well as handle things such as colour and contrast based on the room environment.
It’s a 27-inch 1440p monitor with a 500hz refresh rate and on the colour front it has 99% DCI-P3 color coverage and DisplayHDR True Black 500 . For Mac s or those that want USB-C charging through their monitor it features 98W USB-C charging which is a must have for me.
MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50 MONITOR
This is basically the same monitor as the MPG version, but it doesn’t have the AI Care Sensor, and it has slightly less PD charging. and it’s $50 USD less. It’s still a 27-inch 1440p monitor with a 500hz refresh rate and on the colour front it has 99% DCI-P3 color coverage and DisplayHDR True Black 500 .
MAG 272QPW QD-OLED X28 MONITOR
This is a 27-inch QD-OLED with a 1440p resolution and a 280hz refresh rate. In something a little bit different it features a totally white which is great for those who have a white setup and want that carried all the way through to their monitor.
It has a 0.3ms response time, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits SDR brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, a 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 99% of the DCI-P3, 138% of the sRGB and 98% of the Adobe RGB colour spaces
MPG 274URDFW MINI-LED E16M MONITOR
For those not ready to make the jump to OLED, this is a 27-inch Mini-LED monitor with the ability to display at 4K/160hz or 1080p/320hz and it’s certified for DisplayHDR 1000 with enough dimming zones to provide fantastic brightness and contrast. It has HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4z and a USB-C port that delivers 98w of power.
MPG 242R X60N MONITOR
This is one for the hardcore gamers. 500hz is no longer enough with this monitor having a Rapid TN 600hz with it also ing a 4:3 aspect ratio and the ability to power devices up to 98W.
