It’s hard to believe that the Nintendo Switch 2 is just over a week away from launching, and US/Hong Kong retailers have started to receive their stock with multiple images appearing online of final Nintendo Switch 2 boxes being in storage cages in stores across the US.
Keeping this many Switch 2 units in the middle of a store in a cage with wheels, doesn't seem like the safest place in the world…What are the odds someone has a Switch 2 in their possession before June 5th?Picture: Jake Randall

We’ve heard similar for Australia with Switch 2 stock making its way to stores ahead of launch next Thursday so stores can start preparing those who have pre-orders in to pick-up stock.
We also now have our first look at the Nintendo Switch 2 box, which is quite a bit shorter than the Nintendo Switch 2 OLED edition, but it is wider, which makes sense given the Switch 2 is a larger console.

It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes before we see a Switch 2 in the wild and unboxings start to appear, but for now, we’ll have to just continue looking at them boxed in cages on retail floors.
